1954 AL replay
I've been doing a 1954 AL replay for years. As-played all the way. Much help from fellow Strat replayers Jon Grauer and Buck Jones.
Just played my first game with V11: Red Sox at White Sox, game 1 of Sunday 9/12/54 double header. Red Sox won 5-2. A big blow to the White Sox as they drop to 4 games behind the first place Indians, pending the outcome of the Indians' double header with the Yankees.
Jimmy Piersall hit one out in the top of the 8th to give the BoSox a 4-2 lead.
Then bad base running cost the White Sox any chance they may have had to come back in this game. With his team trailing 4-2 in the bottom of the 8th, Jim Rivera was caught stealing second. One out later, Ron Jackson was picked off first base by Tom Brewer.
In the top of the 9th Ted Williams hit one way out of the park to put a little icing on the cake. The box score:

Ted Williams went deep and had 2 RBI and Tom Brewer completed the game without
help from the bullpen as the Boston Red Sox beat the Chicago White Sox by a
score of 5 to 2.
Brewer(11-9) contributed a very nicely pitched game. He surrendered only 5
hits and 6 walks in 9 innings. Boston had a total of 8 hits for the game.
Bob Keegan(12-9) was the losing pitcher. He pitched 6 innings allowing 5 hits
and 5 walks.
